Lovin, Bug Bites, and Pumpkin Patch!

I suppose some people may not understand the need for a married couple with 2 children to still take corny pictures of themselves. My validation for this is because I want my children to someday see how much their dad and I were in love and as long as we are (which will be forever), I will continue to take pictures of us together. It is important to look at them once in awhile and remind myself of the people we used to be, the journey we have taken, and who we are now. We are different people than when we fell in love as teenagers and yet our love continues to grow and blossom. It's a unique and special thing to share a life and a love with someone that not only maintains through time, but also grows. Ours is and I am thankful every single day for it! So, if you happen to see a picture or two (or 10) of us on this blog or somewhere else, just know that it's because I feel the need to show how important, special and enjoyable marriage and love can be. Now, ask me on another day and my opinion might not be so lovely ;)
Nora got bit by a mosquito 2 nights ago and right away it started to swell up. This morning when she woke up her eye was almost completely swollen shut. I called the Dr. and they wanted to see her so I took her this morning. They are almost sure it's infected and so we are starting an antibiotic to make sure we get it taken care of. Please pray for my baby. She looks pathetically miserable and she's kinda fussy too:(

We took the kids back to the pumpkin patch on Sunday because it was family fun day! They had pony rides, face painting, a jumping place, corn maze, and tractor rides. We took Uncle Jake and had a really good day! Nora loved riding the horse. Braden cried. (are you surprised?) Nora wanted a spider on her face so thats what she got and it was just alot of fun! Here are a few pictures from the day!!!

Nora has quite the little temper when she wants to show it off. She didnt want to have to go bye bye and made it known to all of us that she wasnt very happy. I know you cant help but smile when you see how beautiful she is...even in a moment of anger.

I just LOVE your family. Great pictures.

This blog just inspired me to take some corny pictures with Mark. When they grow up, our grandchildren have to know that Mimi and Bup, in spite of their banter and bickering, were funny and loving and goofy.

Thanks for sharing your life.
