Thank you, Kalli, for pointing out the ignorance of my new blog stalker. I thought I was doing so well having a safe place to vent about my life, feelings, children, decisions, faith, potty training, military, elections or whatever else was on my mind. After all, it is MY blog. That is what a blog is supposed to be, right?? ...interesting... Although there is no reason that I should even begin to reply to this person's comment or justify what was said on my own blog, I feel the need to say a few things on behalf of those of you that are upset for me and love me. Please understand that this is not the first time that I have dealt with petty online arguments and drama. It is exhausting, humiliating and aggravating. I am more upset about it than ever, however, because this is my own private blog and not an Internet forum or chat room.
So, SgtAnonymous ...
I first want to say with an honest and earnest heart that I have every intention of praying for President Obama. I am in no way a bigot, racist or hypocrite when it comes to this man or any other for that matter. I am still confused as to how my opinion of the election has anything to do with whether I'm a Christian or not. I suppose that I figured someone would question my Christianity if I were to agree with Obama's views. After all, most of them don't line up with the word of God. That, my friend, is not using the Bible as a justification, it is using it as truth. Truth which I base my morals, values, and faith upon. Truth that I build my decisions and opinions around. Truth that I stand firm in and will not waiver from. I tend to believe that if I agreed with Obama's thoughts on certain issues that I would be considered hypocritical. I also don't understand how expressing my frustrations would make anyone question my intentions as a Christian or my obligation to God. Funny how one little blog that someone disagrees with all of the sudden makes me an all around horrible person. I have a moral dilemma agreeing with a man that supports the killing of unborn babies. I also struggle with the union of gays in marriage. If this makes me narrow minded, then I'm ok with that. And I can sleep at night knowing that I am not justifying those things with the Bible. I have simply read it, understand it and have chosen to live by it. I will not waiver in that because of a nasty comment that now my friends and family can all read by someone that I dont even know. I am a grown woman who is a wife and a mother. I do not have time for ridiculous and childish internet games. I have had my fair share, as I'm sure you must know.
I realize that this election is going to cause alot of division. It is not just on my blog, in our towns, or about little issues. The Bible says that God is not a God of division but of unity. He longs for us to come together for the purpose of serving Him. Although everyone will always disagree, no matter what the topic or the size of the issue, I would prefer if we could do that in an adult way instead of name calling, trash talking and distasteful comments on a blog about my family. Again, this is MY safe place. I am entitled to share whatever opinions I choose to in whatever fashion that may arise. Please, if you dont care for it, don't read it. I appreciate honesty, integrity and maturity. I am disturbed by the intense nature of comments made over a post that was based on my frustrations and emotions. It is tacky and unnecessary and I would appreciate if in the future, when reading something you disagree with, if you could keep that to your creepy self and neglect to give your words a home on my blog page. Thank you.

All of that aside, I wanted to write to let everyone know that Alex will be home in almost 24 hours. Felicia and the kids made it fine to TN and are now just waiting for him in their hotel. haha. I have to go to an all day training session for the Y tomorrow. I have never been away from the kids this long and although I think it will be alot of fun, you know I'm not looking forward to it. Everything else is going great here. We had an awesome day today and are looking forward to a good weekend! I'll update as soon as I can. Keep a look out for your own little stalkers ;) Love you all!!!

Ramee. I cannot believe that you actually have to deal with this on a blog. Please know that I am a Christian, who supports Barrack Obama and not for his thoughts on gay marriage or abortion (all of which I obviously disagree with) but for his views on the environment, healthcare and other things. That being said, I CANNOT wrap my brain around the possibility that someone was offended by what you wrote. I know that you don't feel like you had to defend yourself, but I'm so glad that you did. Your opinion is the only thing that matters on this blog, because like you said, it's YOURS. Thank God for you Ramee, and I will continue to read your blog and seek inspiration from it just as much as I always have.
Are you serious? You have got to be kidding me.
"For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry."
2 Timothy 4:4
Love you.
PS-I have no idea why that just posted under my maiden name haha.
Ramee, just a couple of observations.
1st, since your anon poster will not make his/her blog public, shows that he/she is a coward and does not want a confrontation.
2nd, since your anon poster is in a private mode, leads me to believe that, sadly, it's probably someone you know. Otherwise, why not reveal his/her blog?
3rd, probably doesn't even HAVE a blog and created an account for the sole purpose of writing you a comment.
4th, although not an observation...you can delete the comment so he/she doesn't get the satisfaction of letting everyone see the comment. Or, you can keep it to show everyone that such lurkers, although creepy, will not change what you think, how you blog or what your beliefs are.
Hope you're have a great day!

Ramee, Though I didn't see or read the comment that was made by your "stalker".. I am sorry that you were treated in such a way. Your so inspirational that I don't even know how someone could take any of your blogs the wrong way.. You were stating what you felt and this is your space to do so. Just know that inspite of this you inspire so many people who read your blogs!! Me being one .. keep doing what you are doing and don't turn back. You are a woman who obviously hears the Lord and has a close intimate relationship with him. Don't let anyone make you feel otherwise. You are strong!! ;) Have a blessed day! Keep standing up for truth.. we need more in the world like this!!
