Prayers for Daniel's dad...

I wanted to make a post asking everyone to please keep Butch in your prayers over the next few days. He has been having some chest pain and pain in his left arm since Friday evening. He called off of work on Saturday (which is very unlike him to do) and still didn't look or feel well today. We begged him to go to the hospital last night to no avail. At about 6 pm this evening, he called and asked Daniel to come to the house. Daniel called the ambulance and they took him to a nearby hospital. After some minor tests, they determined that it was indeed his heart and therefore transferred him to a much larger hospital about an hour away. It is 11 pm and Daniel is still with him. They will be doing some blood tests, and a heart catheter sometime tomorrow. They already did an EKG and that is what Daniel is waiting for tonight. Until I know more please keep him in your prayers. Please also pray for Daniel as he is sure to be tired and worn down from such an exhausting ordeal. I'll update as soon as I know more.

Please also keep Danielle and her family in your prayers over the next couple of days, weeks and months. Danielle's cousin Amber was diagnosed with leukemia a couple of months ago. Today she passed away. She was only a couple of years older than me. She was a young wife and was so beautiful and vibrant. She was a Christian and is for sure celebrating her Savior in Heaven tonight! However, the pain that is so very real is overwhelming to the family right now. Our prayers of comfort are greatly needed and appreciated. Also for safe travels as Danielle, her dad (Pastor Dan) and her brothers drive to meet their mom (who has been away since the diagnosis because it is her sister's daughter) for the funeral.

We love you all and are praying that the Lord bring such deep comfort to your hearts tonight. He is a God that brings such awesome peace. I pray it would abound in you in the days to come.
