Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Felicia!
I'm writing this post because although I will get around to calling you today, it's just so hard! I miss you so much. I want you to know that very rarely in my life have I shared so many great memories with any one person. So many things changed us, shaped us and helped us grow during our every day together last year. I am so thankful to God for allowing us that time to spend so many healing moments, funny moments, trying moments, special and incredible moments together! There hasnt been one day since spring arrived that I havent woke up and wished you and the kids would be calling or walking through my door. I hate that we arent together, even though I know you are safe and much happier with Alex where you belong. I suppose he can have you guys for awhile. :)

I just hope you know that I love you and trust you with everything in me. You're a great mom, a great wife and a great friend! I am so thankful that we will share in this life together and continue to make so many new memories along the way. I miss you! Hope you had a great day. I love you!

Today is also Grandpa Dan's birthday! We celebrated yesterday by taking him to lunch at Monical's and it was a really good time. We will be having cake for him during our Mother's day cookout on Sunday!

Grandpa has become so special to me as I have grown and gotten older. He is an important part of my children's lives and they love him so much. He is loud and yet so decent and sincere. I know that he would do anything in the world to protect me or the kids and I feel that more now than ever before. I am so blessed to have him in our lives! We love you grandpa! Have a great day!!!

In other news, I am officially enrolled in college! Rachel talked to me so much over the course of this last year about the program that she is enrolled in and how well she has been doing. She is so close to being done! She will soon have her certificate in Medical Transcribing. She is also going to further her schooling by adding to it the billing and coding. In the field of Medical Transcribing often times different offices will let you work from home. This would clearly be my goal. So I'm gonna do it! The kids sleep for at least 3 hours in the afternoon and while it's hot this summer I can be busy doing some good old fashioned school work. Hopefully by this time next year I can start to add a little something to our income and have something that is my own to be proud of! My goal is to possibly add the billing and coding as well and eventually I will strive to gain my associates in Psychology through the same school, Ashworth University. Even if I never use my degree, I know I will be so thankful that I worked hard for it and accomplished it for me. All of my work will be online and the college is well known and accredited! I'll keep you updated on my studies!!!

Oh and Rache...because you referred me, after I have been in the program for 3 months we will both receive 50 bucks off our tuition fees. Can I get a woot woot?

Granny wanted to see the kids today. There is a girl my age who has been taking care of her and her house for the last couple of months. Her name is Megan and I really like her! She brought granny to our house for a couple of hours this morning and we had a great visit! It was nice to spend time with them and the kids were thrilled to show off a bit. Nora sang her ABC's and Jesus Loves Me. She's big stuff! Anyway, nothing else is new. We havent heard anything about Daniel's job so keep praying and I'll update soon!
