Potty&PorkChops

3 pees and a poop! That's how successful our morning has been according to the potty chair. As you all know, Nora will be 3 at the end of July. I havent pushed the potty training issue because, like everything else in her life, she'll do it when she's ready. She woke up today and apparently...she was ready! She did it all on her own like I knew she would and I have a feeling it will just be one of those things that sort of happens over night. I'm so proud of her! Her little bitty mind and body amazes me every day!

Daniel is home early today. It should be nice. I'm going to nap while the kids do. It's raining and chilly and just a plain ol' lazy day. In fact, I'm still in my PJ's. Usually by this time of day I at least try to brush my teeth. So far, I havent even bothered.

So I know you noticed the new title. I chose this because much of what I write about here has to do with my daily adventures of, well, raising redheads. I never want my life to be fully based around my title as "mom," "wife," "sister," etc. Even though I am those things and am proud to be, I do not want them defining me completely. I am Ramee. I am a lover of Christ, a prayer warrior, a friend, a fitness instructor, a meal maker, a babysitter, among many other things. I have many titles that contribute to who I am and I am thankful for that. So, if you are new here I want you to know that I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a Christian. But I am so much more than any one of those things alone. Hopefully you will learn more about me by visiting often. Please feel free to write me anytime!(rameelin@mail.com) and by all means, leave a comment and introduce yourself! I cant wait to get to know you better as well!

So ya'll..whats for dinner tonight at your place? From my kitchen the aroma of orange-glazed pork chops will be smelt for miles! Wanna try them? Well you know you're in luck! I always deliver!
Ingredients:
6 pork chops
1/2 cups of brown sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
3/4 cup orange juice
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. dry mustard

Directions:
Mix together all ingredients except the pork chops. Layer chops in a 9X13" flat pan. Pour orange juice mixture over chops. Bake at 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Turn once so that chops are nicely browned.

How much more easy does it get? Not much! Enjoy;)
