The small things.

"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows."
Matthew 10:29-31
Believe me, or not, the above picture is not edited. It was taken yesterday morning on my mom's front porch. This is the zoomed in view from her bathroom window. There are 5 baby birds who had not left the nest as of yesterday and they are beautiful! We had a bad storm here in central, IL this morning and my mom said that a few of them left just before that. She has bonded closely to the view of these little one's and I cannot blame her. They are remarkable! For being so little and so young, they are so diligent to grow and learn to fly.

What a promise we have in Jesus! He cares even for these little birds. How much more than must he care for us? The children that are made in his exact likeness? What a simply beautiful illustration of the depth of our Father's love. Thank you Jesus!

Oh...and I'm so glad I have a mother that taught me to find beauty in the smallest things. Life is a beautiful garden and I am blessed to be aware of the awesomeness of my surroundings because she took the time to teach me, show me and mold me. I am a woman with a passionate view of this world because of you, mom. So thanks. ;) Speaking of beautiful views and loving the little things...these have grown next to our house for the second year in a row. We didnt plant them when we moved in which makes it even more special to me. I dont exactly know what they are, nor do I want to look it up. I simply refer to them as my 'orange summer flowers.'
They make me very happy.
I've been upstairs editing ALOT of pictures from the last few days for quite awhile now. Daniel had the day off and is downstairs playing with our redheads. I won't leave you empty handed but I must hurry and join the fun!
Here's a sneak peek of the babes before I post the rest of our pictures tomorrow. Enjoy!

Because of a terrible bug bite to the forehead, Braden currently looks like Mr. T. Scary, I know. The kids always react this way to bites and I hate it because there isnt much we can do about it until the swelling just goes down. Please pray for our little guy tonight that it happens soon!

Those flowers are every where here, it is amazing because they seem to just be so random and beautiful and in places it seems no one would even think to plant them?
Our kids react the same way to bug bites. I think I have invested heavily to OFF. I hate to spray it all over them but the bites make Ry SO miserable. The swelling always scares me because Ry got one infected really bad last year. Fair skin+big bites=no fun.
