Baby talk...

For those of you who have heard it through the grapevine, let me make the official announcement here & now on MY very own blog...

Abby Is Having a Baby!!!
A girl, to be exact. Ashlyn to be more specific.
She is due on or near MY birthday.
She is healthy. And has long toes.
Yes, Yes it's true. I feel as if my baby is having a baby. Abby was 9 when I started watching the girls. She is 19 now. It's all so strange. She has always been a light in my life and I know this baby will be nothing short of the same! She will be a great mother and I know that God is going to use this baby for awesome things. His word promises that He works out all things for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Although this may not seem like the ideal situation for some, we have prayed over this child already and know that the Lord already knows her name. He already has the foundation of her future laid and there is great purpose in her life! It's an awesome feeling knowing that Abby will do her best to make sure that Ashlyn loves and follows God. What a great future we will see in this sweet baby girl!

In other news, I wanted to share a few of Nora's latest statments of humor:

This morning I walked upstairs to use the bathroom and Nora was walking out of my room, facing away from me closing my bedroom door. I said "Good morning baby!" She turned around quickly and grabbed her little chest and said, "Mom! You scared me to death!"

We were sitting at Dairy Queen tonight and she said to everyone, "Abby & my mommy has a baby in their bellies." No, Nora. Not this mommy.
Then she went on to say that Daddy also had a baby in his tummy and that her baby was in her arm. hmmm.....

Braden: (crying uncontrallably all day long)
Nora: Braden, stop your whining! Do you understand what I am saying to you? (this sounded exactly like the words I say to them. It was hysterical!)
