new music=love

Hi friends.
I hope tonight finds you well, whole and healthy.
I'm sitting at our kitchen table with my oldest redhead.
She has a mosquito bite on her forehead and just rubbed my belly, asking if it still feels sick.
She's a sweetie.
She is growing so quickly. It makes me sad, and yet hopeful for the many years ahead.
I am so very grateful for the chance to look at her, spend time with her, talk to her, and most of all to teach her.
The great responsibility of teaching my children the Word of God is such a delight. It enables me to teach them mercy and grace in my inability to do it all correctly. They will see my human flaws and yet still learn the greatness of our majesty, who forgives all shortcomings.
I'm so very thankful to my Lord for using me to teach these young, beautiful vessels.
They have a great future and purpose in serving our King!

As much as I cannot stand our dog, I have found myself taking her on a short walk for the last 3 days. I am determined to teach her that she can, in fact, be a normal dog. We walk close to 3 miles and she barks (not even kidding) the entire time.
It's beyond annoying. But at this point, I'm used to it. It's all I hear. All day long.

Daniel & I went shopping for Brother's birthday presents tonight. We didnt come home with much. He's hard to shop for, considering he's happy in his own little world with his blankie and toes to entertain him. We got a neat train track, some trains, some new PJ's and a few books for now. We may get more, we may not. Between those few gifts and the presents from his grandma's--I think he'll have it made....in fact, they ALWAYS have it made.

Speaking of Daniel & I--we will be leading worship together on Sunday night for our 6 o'clock service. Please keep us in your prayers. We love the challenge of leading others into the place of worship while being used of God. Any chance we can get to bring glory to His name is an honor and we will treat it as such!

If you didnt notice, I added a new music player to my page. These are just a few of my favorite songs. I hope they bring you as much joy and peace in the few minutes you listen to them as they do my family. Our home is filled with music for our King and I just cant get enough of these few songs!

I started a great online book club. I'll tell you more about that tomorrow and would love to give you enough information that maybe you'd like to join as well!
But for now, I must snuggle with the lovely lady. Her beautiful face is just screaming to be kissed. Have a great night. We love you all deeply!
