Ten Honest Things About Me:
1.) I wanted 7 children. I no longer do.
2.) My eyes shake because of a defect called nystagmus.
3.) I love cooking almost as much as writing.
4.) Most of my greatest friends live far from me but I have no fear in loving even if they will live away forever.
5.) I love when Daniel plays the guitar even if I sometimes get annoyed with it. It's the greatest gift God could have given him!
6.) I feel guilty when I have "me" time and really miss the kids.
7.) I am cheap. Cheaper than cheap.
8.) I love when our house is full of people but feel the need to clean it from top to bottom the day after they're all gone.
9.) I can spend all day talking to Jesus, praying if you will but have a hard time reading the Word. It's a constant struggle and I have to make a real effort to do it.
10.) I could eat mexican food for every meal, every day for the rest of my life. yum.
Seven blogs that I have found to be inspiring that I am not giving the Honest Scrap award to:
Want to be inspired by one of the strongest mother's you'll ever come to know? Wanna see cute pictures of her beautiful baby boy? Visit Patrice's blog for encouragement, laughter and also to pray over Jonah and their entire family! Jonah was born with a rare skin disorder and I have been reading since day one. She inspires me every day to be a better, more patient mother.
This beautiful mama has 3 small boys at home and is pregnant with her 4th child-a girl! She tells sweet stories of moments with her boys and I love her Monday Musings. She also has some redheads:) Visit her site and show her some love...
Natalie is an "in real life" friend of mine who lives right here in Clinton. She has two small girls, Rachel and Olivia. I love her pictures and stories about life. She has the greatest sense of humor and a passion for her family!
4.) Bring the Rain
Angie blogs about her family, the Lord and many other things at her very popular blog, "Bring the Rain." She has 4 girls, one of which went to be with Jesus. Angie's husband sings for the Christian band, Selah and she is currently pregnant with their 5th child. Angie inspires me to be a better mother, writer and Lord-lover. Her writing has truly been a great gift to my life so I hope you'll check out her site...
5.) Holy Experience
This blog rocks my world! Talk about loving on the Lord! Ann's writing is sweet, elegant, charming and leaves me speechless. She has challenged me in my thinking and taken me to new depths with the Lord. Get ready to be abundantly blessed!
My best friend Rachel blogs about life as a young wife who struggled with becoming pregnant but has! She is currently 14 weeks. Her blog is private but if you would like to be able to read, please email me for the information and I will pass it along to her! Rachel's thinking and writing will take you to a whole new place spiritually. I have rarely known someone to love the Lord in such a way!
7.) The Dynamic Duo
This blog is the story about a young family whose daughter was diagnosed with Leukemia. When their baby boy was born, he became the bone marrow donor for his sister. A couple of years later when Camryn relapsed, Wyatt again donated to save his sister's life. Written by their mother, this blog daily touches my life. I have never been in such deep prayer for someone I did not know as I have been for this family. I have watched them battle spiritually, emotionally and physically for their daughter, who is now almost 5 months into recovery. If you feel led to do so, please visit this blog and leave some love for this family. They still have a long road ahead and they are aware of the obstacles but their faith and love has never wavered. Talk about strength!

Ok so that took alot longer than I expected. I don't have time to go to every blog and tell them about their award right now, but I'll try to get to it later. In the meantime if you're reading and you've been given an award...CONGRATS! I love you and thanks for inspiring and encouraging my life!
The last couple of days have been busy in our home! I am preparing to pack up my fall decor because I have a new project that I have to begin working on. I'll reveal what it is and keep you updated and informed as I get closer to being finished.
The kids are good! Braden is talking so so much. He repeats anything we say and can hold an entire conversation at this point. He and Nora talk to one another which I love! He is also saying "Hallelujah!"
Nora can recognize any number that we show her now. She knows all of her colors and is singing a number of songs on her own. It's a joyful time!
Ok, gotta run. Love you all and am praying for those of you who have asked me to!
