Good morning, friends!
Today was my first Dr's appointment and all went well. Even though this is my 3rd time going through this in 4 short years, the same anxious and nervous feeling took over me this morning as I drove to the hospital. I prayed for peace, which the Lord supplied in awesome amounts. Last night Daniel prayed over this baby's life just as he has many times before. It is such a special thing to hear the father of my children go to the Father on their behalf. To pray over them as they are already growing inside of me is remarkable. I'm so blessed to have him as my partner.
So all is well with baby! I am exactly 6 weeks according to my last period and the sonogram confirmed that to be true as well. We saw the baby's heartbeat which gave me the reassurance I needed! It's an awesome feeling knowing that he or she is already growing so rapidly inside of me. Another child. A beautiful baby that is healthy and called of God.
Some of you have emailed me and asked if I am going to start a separate baby journal online for this pregnancy, but I am not. I will blog here about changes and updates just like I have written here about everything else in our lives!
So my other redheads are doing better! They still have coughs but are back to their normal selves; running, screaming, biting, playing and fighting. All is well:)
The other day I was doing the dishes when Braden must have hit Nora. Nora proceeded to say this to her brother, "Bubby, the Bible says we have to be nice to each other. Do not be a mean boy."
And indeed this boy can be quite mean. He can also be quite funny and smart and gorgeous. His body is absolutely to die for. He makes me laugh every day! He is still whining more than most 2 year olds I see but I suppose I'm used to it. I am his mom, after all :) He is starting to say alot of words in Spanish due to his obsession with Dora and Diego. He even used the Spanish word for "climb" while getting in his high chair at the Mexican restaurant in town. I was impressed by the way his little mind works!

Braden loves to love. He snuggles with us alot and lately he will say to me, out of nowhere, "I miss you mommy. I love you so much, mommy." He is just the sweetest boy ever. By far one of the greatest gifts that God could have ever given me.

So there you have it. A quick update on the cutest redheads on the block. These 2 keep me on my toes, there's no doubt about it. They are growing so quickly and learning so much! It's overwhelming!
Tonight is our town's Christmas parade and I'm so excited to take the kids! This year Braden acts super excited to see Santa;) Tomorrow we are getting our annual Christmas pictures taken which should be fun. I will try to post them if I can. Also, tomorrow is the deadline for the scentsy giveaway. Make sure and tell me what your favorite memory smell is in the post below. We love you all and appreciate your prayers! The Lord is so good and I have so much to be grateful for. What an awesome God!

Awe~ :-) What a sweet picture of your new blessing! I can't wait to see if he/she has a full head of beautiful red hair as your other 2 do!
I love it how the little ones brains are so much like sponges! We started working on some scripture memorization with the 2 older ones and I was so surprised just how good their memory is! I wish my brain would work 1/2 as good! How cute is that that Braden is picking up spanish!!

*my favorite scent would have to be a mix of vanilla and pumpkin pie because it reminds me so much of being a child and spending christmas eve at my grandparent's house. it brings back memories of togetherness and traditions. happy holidays!
