17 weeks and counting...

17 weeks pregnant today.

Wish I had a picture to share, but I haven't gotten out of my PJ's much in the past couple of days--let alone brushed my hair. But rest assured, one is coming. And I am growing. Alot this week.

*I went back to my swim class Monday night and still am loving it.

*I haven't gained any weight since my last appointment and I go back a week from tomorrow. So far I have gained 14 pounds total. The Dr. prefers that I gain at least 35 because I started out "underweight." I prefer not gaining that much, although I'm sure I will and then some.

*I can feel Emery move/squirm at least once a day and usually more.

*Went to the hospital today because of this burning in my chest that is unbearable. I have bronchitis again. Or still. However you want to look at it. I'm pretty miserable. And even more so now that I'm back on an antibiotic. Awesome, huh?

*I wish I had no boobs. They hurt so bad it's ridiculous. I don't remember this kind of pain with either of the redheads.

*I still have yet to cook more than 3 meals from my own kitchen during this pregnancy. We're spending far too much money on food from other sources, and I still don't really care. I'm exhausted and raw meat makes me sick. The kids had both gained weight at their Dr's appointment and he was 'pleased with their growth.'--which I knew, but it's nice to hear.

*I'm short of breath alot. I know some of it is the bronchitis but most of it is due to pregnancy. I can tell because everything is shifting and I can just feel my body changing. It's amazing how our bodies change to create this miracle.

*Braden and Nora are both feeling better. They still have coughs but no fevers and were back to hitting, yelling and pinching one another this morning. I cried at least 4 times just watching them because I don't really have the energy to fight back today. It's ok to let them duke it out once in awhile, right? Right?

*Nora sneezed in the van on the way back from the Dr. the other day and calmly said, "Holy Moses!" This is something she hears her Nanny say often. (thanks, mom;) It was pretty cute.

*Daniel has been sleeping on the couch for awhile now because it's easier for him to load the wood stove throughout the night rather than having to go up and down the stairs. Last night he came to bed to snuggle with Nora & I. Nora rolled over and looked at him and in a high pitched, confused voice, said, "Huh!?" We both busted a gut. She's so dang cute.

*Today Nora got her blanket just perfect across herself and quietly said, "That'll do the trick."

*Braden cried for 35 minutes this morning like an infant because I had to wash his blanky (because HE spilt chocolate milk all over it--and himself--and said "I'm taking a bath.") That's about all I have to say about Braden today. :)

*So here I am, almost half way to due date with Mr. Emery if I have him 2 weeks early (due to tailbone, remember?) I can't believe how fast time is going. I can't believe how quickly he will be here. I don't feel anxious at all. I feel excited to meet this "baby brother" and see the plan that God has for our family when he arrives. Thanks for your prayers over me and this pregnancy. I feel them daily. Pictures to come soon! Be on the lookout for the ever emerging tummy. Love you all.
