Weigh-In Wednesday.

Weight leaving the hospital: 164
Weight last week: 127
Weight as of today: 126
--------------------------------
I assumed I wasn't going to lose any weight this week. Daniel has been cutting wood and so I only walked 3 out of the 7 days. I found some really delicious recipes that I spent time baking [and eating] which I never regret. Remember one of my goals was to eat good food while losing weight to show that it can be done?! Anyway, there is a reason that they tell you to only weight yourself once a week. Things change so much from day to day. At one point, it looked like I was back up 130. By last night the scale still said 127 (which I was fine with...I hadn't lost any but I hadn't gained either.) But low and behold as I woke up this morning and the scale said 126, I was pretty thrilled.

I spent alot of time cleaning yesterday and didn't sit down at all (only to feed Mabel).
So although I didn't walk or work out at all, I was still active. That is key so remember:
If you're moving; youre losing!
Some favorites this week:
If you want a diet drink that actually tastes good, you HAVE to try Diet Cherry Coke. Oh, its a dream come true for me...
Trail mix is always a staple snack. Don't eat too much, but just enough to give yourself a little crunch. It's a good combo of sweet and carbs (which are key for kickin up your metabolism).
Another great and quick snack...
And this is on my wish list...
The new Philips Activa MP3 player tracks the calories you burn, provides encouragement and feedback based on your workout progress and chooses songs that match your pace to keep you on the beat.
Ughhhhh. Daniel said I could get it, so today the search is on!!!
--------------------------------
I'm really blessed to have such great support in Daniel. He encourages me when I want to walk and never complains at the 45 minutes that I take to myself to work out. He understands the importance of exercise as well and takes alot of pride in his own body. I know that many of you don't have the support that I have. Try to find at least one friend who can encourage you on your journey and if you can't, please write me.
And for those of you that HAVE written me--Thank you!!!
I love hearing from you and I would love to answer your questions or talk to you more.
Have a good work out week!
