Freedom.

I love Independence Day.  This year more than ever, probably.

 

 This year I am more thankful than ever to live in the USA.  Mabel is getting great medical care and attention, she gets in-home therapy and we have a choice when it comes to her care.

 We get to wake up each Sunday morning and worship at the church of our choice.  We are free to own businesses, make and sell products and come and go as we please.

 This year I am thankful that Daniel served to help defend these rights and freedoms.  I feel proud that he did and am thankful that he chose to serve our country in that way.  It humbles me to know that so many men and women still are serving.

Our family will always celebrate with great pride this holiday.  Being an American and living in this country is something I will never take for granted.  It's astounding to me that we get the privilege of being free.  What an honor!
