Don't be blue...

Yesterday she turned 2.
...and we celebrated in style with Blue's Clues and gang.
Every day she is doing something new.  Every day she learns a new word or makes a new face.  Being two is sure to be a blast.
I have never felt more thankful to be doing life with Rache.
To have her help and to help her has made the world right in my eyes.  She's a great mom and had a great party for her girl.
So many of our closest friends and family showed up for the big day and I know that I felt thankful so I can't imagine how Rache must have felt.  To be so loved is humbling and I am so so grateful.
We made sure that Mabel was dressed in true matching fashion.  All of her little friends were here and although it used to be hard and upsetting--I can truly say it wasn't.
She is who she is.
They are who they are and they love her.
Every one of them.
And we love them.
So it was easy.  For the first time in a long time, the day was easy and enjoyable.
...and now, after a very hard week-Daniel is taking some time off of work to hunker down in this house with his family.  Our plans?
None.
Except maybe movies, popcorn, laughing, building tents, extra kissing and late bed times (for us at least.)  And maybe [just maybe] a one day trip to Chicago.
Just the two of us.
Harper is two.  We celebrated big.
I pray she always knows just how loved she is by us.
She is the light of my life.
