run.

I took a run yesterday morning.  It was 10:30 and instead of being in church I was on a country road-alone with God.  You know that me and God on a country road is usually a really great thing and yesterday's visit didn't disappoint.  He shows up there when my mind is clear and my thoughts are steady.  He takes my weary heart and fills it up again.  He refills and refreshes.  He uses the strength in my capable legs to carry me and the strength in my capable soul to change me.

 There's something very funny about God.

He is simple. 

When the mess is all stripped away and it's just you and God-He is oh so very simple.

 I was up all night with a very sick boy.  He seems better today but it was rough.  I'm praying that Mabel doesn't get the same because one night of throwing up for our girl usually means disaster.  So here's hoping that we'll slide through it...

I will be announcing the winners of the book giveaways tonight.  Please come back this evening to see if you're one of the lucky ones.  There will be two winers, remember?

Oh and in some other exciting news:  I will soon be selling Tastefully Simple products.  There is not a consultant in our little town and I'm going to start up next month.  If you would like to host a book party, online party, or home party-pleaset let me know.  Also, if you are interested in the products you can visit www.tastefullysimple.com.

I will be hosting my launch part on Sunday May 20th at 6:30 pm.  I'll be sending out an event on facebook and probably invites as well but be sure to come out and enjoy good food and good company!

In other exciting news we have an official date for the

2nd Annual "Mabel's Able" 5k Race/Walk!!!

It will be August 18th.  We aren't sure about the time but PLEASE mark your calendars!!!  More info to come!
