quickie.

Bright and early once again, Jeni and I were on our way to Mabel's appointment yesterday morning.  This time we were not only have blood draws but an abdominal ultrasound as well.  This is because there are certain rare diseases that are characterized by the presence of internal abdominal lesions.
Thankfully, at about 3 pm yesterday the nurse called and said for this purpose, the scan was essentially normal.
Moving on...
We won't know more about the blood work for weeks.
Waiting...Waiting...Waiting...
But as I was reminded a few days ago, there is so much discipline in the waiting.

We had the best weekend.
Played with the kids in the yard for hours and laughed hard.   Intentionally memorizing these moments to tuck away.

Visited a new church on Sunday and adored it.  Loved worship and felt a strong connection in the message.  The Lord is drawing us to something new and although we are unsure about what it is, we are confident that it is going to be big and great.
Looking forward to tomorrow.
Daniel and I are taking that much needed day for ourselves and we will be venturing in the big city of Chicago.  We'll be home in time for night meds but the day is ours...

♥
Thankful for sunshine and freckles, curly hair and kisses.

Oh, enjoy your day away! How fun! Is Mabel growing, or is it just the photos? She looks so tall to me lately. I cannot get over it! And her hair has grown for sure sooo much. She is so breath takingly beautiful.
