Sour cream cookies=Christmas.

My favorite Sour Cream Cookies.
[You're welcome]

What you'll need:
1 Cup butter
2 Cups sugar
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
8 oz. sour cream
4 Cups flour

Preheat oven to 375.
Cream butter (softened but not melted) and sugar.

Add eggs one at a time and mix well.

Add vanilla, baking soda, baking powder and 1 cup of flour.
Alternate adding the remaining flour and sour cream.

 Mix well.
Drop by teaspoons on a lightly greased cookie sheet.  Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.
Enjoy some of the delicious dough {if you dare.}

Cool and frost with your favorite icing.
I made cream cheese icing from scratch.  Also simple and delightful.
1 [8 oz] package of cream cheese
1/4 cup of butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla
mix well and spread on warm cookies.

This is the only cookie that I make faithfully year after year.  Everyone looks forward to them.
Let me know if you try and like them!

Hi Lady! Found your blog through Top Mommy blogs and am a new follower. Glad I stopped by as I've always heard sour cream cookies are more plump than others. I might have to try your recipe out!
