Yesterday we all met together in Spring colors to celebrate Harper's life with a Nemo themed birthday party!
Harper turns 3 in a few short days but we will be in Disney so Rache planned a party that was perfectly timed. All of our friends gathered and we smiled, ate and enjoyed each other in honor of a special little lady.
When Harper and Rache came to live with us 2 1/2 years ago, Braden had just turned 3.
My how life has evolved and changed since those days! So many things are different: the kids have grown, heartache has been evident, diagnosis was given, friendships have grown and some have been severed, relationships have flourished and some have ended. In just a short amount of time God has plucked and weeded our lives very diligently and when I looked around yesterday I could see it.
It's evident that there is a purpose.
Harper Lee Lee,
Aunt Ramee loves you more than you will ever know. When you came here you changed my life forever and for the better. You are a sassy, screaming, hilarious lady and every time I see you I am made better. I am so glad that God led you and mommy here to me and to Nora, Bud and Mabel. I love watching you grow and I can't wait to see how you continue to do so. Your little heart is so full of life and you are so special to SO many people. I hope you always know how deeply you are loved.
Some day I pray that I will have many great lessons to teach you about life but for today all I can give you is the wisdom that you gave to me just last week:
"Just keep swimming Harp. Just keep swimming."
Love you baby!!!!
An update on Mabel:
She is on day 3 of antibiotics. She seems better, but lethargic and still fussy. She has vomited the last 2 nights at bedtime. Please keep praying!
